HomeFitIQ is a free educational and planning tool that estimates mortgage payments, refinance outcomes, rent affordability, and monthly budgets based on the numbers you enter and general reference data (such as published tax brackets and average state-level property tax and insurance figures).
HomeFitIQ is not:
HomeFitIQ pulls current average mortgage rates from a public Federal Reserve data feed, and uses published IRS tax brackets and statewide averages for property tax and insurance. These are reasonable estimates, not quotes specific to you. Actual rates, tax bills, insurance premiums, and loan terms vary by lender, county, insurer, credit profile, and many other factors outside this tool's knowledge. We make no guarantee that any figure shown is accurate, current, or applicable to your specific situation.
You must be at least 18 years old to use HomeFitIQ or create an account.
Creating an account to save your numbers is optional and free. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You can delete saved scenarios at any time, and you can request full account deletion by contacting hello@homefitiq.com.

HomeFitIQ does not currently contain affiliate links. If we add links to third-party services in the future (for example, mortgage lenders, insurance comparison tools, or savings accounts), some of those links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you sign up or make a purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. We'll disclose this clearly near any such links when they go live. We don't control third-party sites we link to and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices — review their own terms and privacy policies before using them.
HomeFitIQ does not currently display advertising. If we introduce ads (for example, through Google AdSense), they will be clearly distinguishable from the tool's own content and will not appear inside the calculator flow itself.
The HomeFitIQ name, design, and underlying code are owned by the site's operator. You're welcome to use the calculators for your own personal planning. You may not copy, resell, or repackage the tool itself without permission.
